    It gives cancer.
The only reason it’s legal is so the government can heavily tax it
    It reduces your lung capacity
It has an addictive chemical called nicotine in it
Many throat/lung infections are due to smoking
Smoking is a habit which you spend alot of money on to fuel your addiction to nicotine.
It makes blister’s/callouses in your throat/lungs,
The companys who produce it know of it’s destructive effects on your body but still want to sell it to you for money
Smoking 1 cigarette it’s self isn’t that bad but because of nicotine you have a physiological/physical dependence to it which makes people chain smoke which is harmful and turns your lung from a healthy pink to a ugly gray/black color
Smokers are the people who constantly cough because it’s your lungs trying to clean it’s self all the toxic fumes which absorb into your avioli but unfortunately cannot be cleaned out
Cigarettes has over 500 chemicals in them most of which are addictive’s so you can’t stop therefore fueling the financial gain of the cigarette companys
Infections/cancers as a result of cancers cause MILLIONS of debt to the health care system
Nicotine in cigarette’s help cigarette companys have loyal customers until they quit(which is extremely hard) or they die
If you smoke and take large puff’s,your killing brain cells because your depriving your brain of oxygen.
If your a heavy smoker and you quit, you’ll experience hypersensitivity which will last a while or may not even go away.

You should really being doing this for yourself.

    Fact 1
Smoking is the largest single preventable cause of death and disease in Australia. There are around 19,000 tobacco caused deaths each year. That’s 52 a day.

    Fact 2
Every month Australian tobacco companies lose at least 12,000 customers. About 12,500 quit and 1,600 die of diseases caused by smoking.

    Fact 3
Latest data (2001) from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare shows 21.1% of Australians over 14 are smoking at least weekly. 80% of them have tried to quit at least once. Within the last twelve months 30.8% of smokers have tried to stop.

    Fact 4
A twenty-a-day smoker, aged 30, who started smoking at around 16 has already breathed a kilo of tar into their lungs.

    Fact 5
Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, many of which are highly toxic and over 40 of which are known to cause cancer. There is no safe ‘low tar’ cigarette and no safe level of smoking.

    Fact 6
Male smokers may produce less sperm and their sperm may have more abnormalities than that of non-smokers. Women who smoke are more likely to have a miscarriage2. Several studies have found that women who smoke have decreased fertility. Of these, one study has found that smokers have about 72% of the fertility of non-smokers.

    Fact 7
A smoker is 10 times more likely to develop lung cancer. Heavy smokers are 15 to 25 times more at risk than non-smokers4. 85% of all male cases and 77% of female cases of lung cancer are related to smoking.

    Fact 8
Smoking reduces life expectancy by 7 – 8 years. That means, each cigarette shortens the life of the smoker by around 8 minutes.

    Fact 9
Women smokers who use the pill increase their risk of a heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases by about ten times.

    Fact 10
Over 57,000 reports worldwide have examined the link between cigarette smoking and disease, making it the most researched cause of disease ever investigated in the history of Biomedical Research

    Fact 11
There is a 100% chance your health will be affected by smoking.
