E-Cig News Report

I am looking for some quit smoking natural ways and i heard about herbal cigarettes or electric cigarettes are they good enough and where can i buy electronic cigarette.

Gum, patch, etc. all have about a 7% success rate and that drops to under 5% after 90 days. Cold Turkey has slightly higher success rates.

Electronic Cigs can help get you off of tobacco but you are still getting the nicotine which is supposedly the hardest to quit. After using the e-cig for going on 6 months with decreasing amounts of nicotine – it is my opinion that being addicted to nicotine is NOT the worst thing in the world. I know that rolling out of bed in the morning, the first thing on my mind is NOT getting to my e-cig like it was with regular tobacco. It was hard enough to jump in the shower and such without lighting up first. Not like that with e-cigs.

I recommend you read some forums and learn more about them so you can make an informed decision.

  • Tawimi:

The electronic cigarette was developed in China in 2004 and was designed by the Runyan corporation. It was designed to take the place of smoking tobacco cigarettes and cigars because, despite global smoking bans, many smokers just find it too difficult to quit altogether. There are numerous nicotine replacement products on the market, such as gum and patches, but these in no way replicate the smoking experience which has been proven to be a part of the addictive ritual of smoking. The e-cigarette is revolutionary in that it’s aim is to both deliver nicotine to user and simulate the experience of smoking a traditional tobacco cigarette. This is just my opinion but if you are ready to stop you don’t need any of the gimmicks. If you’re not ready none of them will work. Nicotine patches, nicotine gum, e cigarettes are simply not effective if you are not mentally prepared to stop.
This is from 35 years as a Respiratory Therapist trying to get patients to stop smoking.
When you are ready you will stop and never go back to it. You’ll know when the time is right.
God bless and help you quit.

You may go for Nicotine replacement therapies

Nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) are medicines that help decrease or stop a smoker’s withdrawal symptoms by giving controlled doses of nicotine without the other harmful chemicals of cigarette smoke. NRTs are sold as patches, gums, inhalers, nasal sprays, or lozenges. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved all of these products to help people quit smoking. Patches, gums, and lozenges are available over the counter, but you will need a prescription for inhalers and nasal sprays. Some other useful tips to make your quest more successful:

Join a gym and start exercising at least three times a week

Spend more time with non-smokers and you will find yourself not wanting to smoke quite as much

Involve yourself in other activities such as painting, scrap booking, playing golf, building puzzles, swimming, or writing poetry.

During stressful situations when you really need to blow off steam, squeeze a stress ball, have a work-out at the gym, go running, listen to loud music or phone a friend who can offer support

Due to the unpleasantness of the withdrawal symptoms, many people who try to quit smoking end up replacing the cigarettes with some other type of addiction. This may be an addiction to prescription medication, such as sleeping tablets or tranquilizers, or an addiction to food. While you will definitely experience the health benefits of giving up nicotine, no one wants to replace one addiction with another!

A healthy diet, adequate exercise as well as natural and holistic treatments such as acupuncture, massage and herbal and homeopathic remedies can also help the smoker overcome nicotine addiction. Herbal and homeopathic treatments are a safe and effective means to reduce nicotine cravings (without giving you more nicotine) and will also help to prevent weight gain and alleviate anxiety and irritability. Basically, natural and holistic treatments not only lessen the urge to smoke, but also help you to restore balance in your body.

There are a number of ingredients such as Avena sativa, Garcinia cambogia and Gotu Cola (Centella asiatica) which will help to address the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. They reduce nicotine cravings and balance the mood.

You may get detailed info on these remedies over here http://www.healthherbsandnutrition.com/remedies/s/smoking.htm

I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.
