Let’s be honest. I was an ex-smoker, and smoking outside does not help your children from being exposed to it. Even if you take a shower and touch your children, you still find nicotine there. We smoke outside, we have graphic images and warnings put on cigarette packets as a constant reminder, we get constantly bashed by the tobacco police (who are a load of smug that LOVE to take the moral high ground), but you can’t grasp the fact that most people who smoke do so because they WANT to. The only way to truly stop smoking is essentially to make tabacco companies go out of business. Nicotine patches and chewing tabacco probably wont be popular enough on a side note. But the problem is: you can’t make companies go bust overnight with consideration for the workers and tax incomes.
This is why these ads are important, and putting up pictures on packs like they did/want to in Australia. More awareness = fewer smokers, steadily but surely.

@realisticHomeboy so true i gave up about 6months ago after 20 years of smoking, and i dont care if they put petrol up to £2.00 a litre in the uk next year, we will all have to walk more and drive less, so we benefit both ways..
Think about this less than 1/3rd of the tax the goverment gets from is spent on treatment of smoking related illness and anti-smoking campaigns clinics etc..
So they got to make about £650 million a year from something else

Smokers are retards because they waste money on something that is killing them and also harming others if they are near. Also they seem to forget other people don’t want to inhale their smoke. Smokers stand at bus stops and whilst others like to wait for the bus smoke free, they can’t because of some retard puffing their lungs out.
