iv seen people using them but do they actually help you give up smoking or are people just using them as well as smoking

They are not marketed as a stop smoking aid because smoking cessation involves not only kicking the nicotine habit, but kicking the the physical act of smoking.

They do deliver nicotine without the tar and other chemicals in cigarettes, though.

they have not been approved by the fda yet but has anyone tried them yet what was your experience like

I have not tried Liberty Stix but in general electric cigarettes are safe other then the nicotine which of course is very addictive.

This would not be a product for non smokers. The only people I see benefiting from this product are people who already smoke. It is a safer alternative.

i have an electric cigarette and im at school and the drug dog is coming. can they smell the e-liquid?

dogs can smell a lot of things but a drug dog is trained to sniff out illegal drugs. some dogs are trained to sniff out explosives. never have i heard of a nicotine sniffing dog- that would be a waste of money. the training that goes in to these dogs is pretty expansive and believe it or not police have a more important agenda when they bring a drug dog into a school than nicotine. i can only imagine how many student have cigarettes in their cars or lockers whatever. When I was in high school they had drug dogs in 2x a year and plenty of my friends had cigarettes and never got caught.

can you imagine how many times that dog would be indicating a nicotine when ran through the parking lot?

I’m sure the dog can smell the liquid just as they could if someone had on dirty underwear- however will they alert the officer- no- nicotine detection is not what they are trained for.

The concerns are the same as with regular cigs, but lessened. They have not been through fda testing, but independent tests show that there are several bad chemicals present in reg cig smoke that are not at all present in ecigs, and several more that the levels are dramatically reduced.

You are breathing in vapor rather than smoke, so its easier on your lungs.

But, in general its the same health risks, just at a dramatically lower level.
